Some Peruvian Fun!

The girls and I had a "girl spa day".  We were able to get our nails painted and hair cut for a whopping $16.00.  What a deal!

We took a trip to Cumbe Mayo one afternoon.  Cumbe Mayo is about 12 miles outside of Cajamarca.  The elevation is 11,000 feet and you can feel it!  It is 5 miles of Incan ruins - aqueduct.  There is also lot of rock cavings (Petroglyphs) which is awesome to see!  We had a great time exploring God's country.

We were lucky to bring a lot of our games this trip.  One is the girl's Wii.  They really never played it much until we moved here.  Their favorite game is the Just Dance for Kids.  They love dancing to the music and seeing who scores the highest.  Viviana also gets into it.  This is a great family fun game!

We were visited by a good friend of ours named Gerald Johnson.  He works in South America - specifically Chile.  He was able to fly into Cajamarca and visit us for a few days.  Gerald stayed in the Laguna Seca Hotel  in the Banos Del Inca.  The Laguna Seca has hot mineral water, a small petting zoo, horse back riding and more!  We all enjoyed visiting with the animals.  The girls even had the opportunity to swim in Gerald's bathtub to enjoy the natural hot water!

Living in Peru always keeps us on our toes.  You never know what you will see!  One thing is for sure, the person whom lives in this home must watch out for their step!
