Hogar, dulce hogar!

Home, sweet home!

We made it.  Took 27.5 hours but we made it.  Girls were exhausted!  The last airplane ride was tough.  Madison was so tired she wouldn't get off the plane.  We finally got her up after a bit of "coaching".
Everything is exactly how we remembered.  Beautiful and peaceful.  After a bit of sleep and some comida in our tummy, we showed the girls around the farm.  Of course the Cuye were a big hit!
We have started making our nest.  Anita made the girls macaroni and cheese!  Nothing says home like some mac-n-cheese.

Communication is interesting.  We are getting by but thank you google for igoogle translate!  Got to love technology!

...and they are off!

The journey has just begun.
We have arrived in Nevada to visit my parents until Sunday (29th).  The adventure started with 16 bags of luggage, 3 pillow pets, pocket money, and 2 tired parents.  We packed up all our belongings which totaled up to be 34 bags.  Yes, you must be a bit organized to accomplish this task.  We had to seperate bags from what we needed now, what could wait 2 weeks and what could wait after that. We are having volunteers bring the other 18 bags within the months of June and July.  Needless to say, the rooms of the house looked like a tornado had torn through them.
To continue the story, we arrived in the LR airport with all our 16 bags which were all wrapped in black trash bags.  The only vehicle we had that could fit all our luggage was a pickup truck.  Plus to add to our stress, God decided to make it rain!  So, in order to keep our stuff dry, we stuffed the bags in trash bags.  The back of the truck looked like we were hauling trash.  But nope, it was the Kervin's moving (again). - Deirdra

Everything is going well.  We are searching through our bags trying to remember where we packed our clothes.  Three of our bags were damaged just getting to Nevada...... praying for a better baggage handlers from here to Peru.

We are so thankful to all of our supporters for their PRAYERS.  Don't stop now the hardest adjustment is yet to come. - Justin
